Danie Marais was born in Pretoria, South Africa, in 1978 and grew up mostly in Namibia. He studied art at the Central University of Technology in Bloemfontein and now resides in the West Coast near Cape Town.
Danie is a full time artist, and his work is on display at several galleries throughout South Africa and Namibia. Prospective buyers can either visit these galleries or contact him personally to order anything from his portfolio. He has had several group as well as solo exhibitions.
